About Kate Ceberano
Born in Melbourne in November 1966, Kate Ceberano is one of Australia's most popular singer/songwriters. She first found fame in 1984 as lead singer of her funk band "I'm Talking". Their album produced three top ten singles, went platinum and won the group Best New Talent at the Countdown awards. After this success, Kate set out to launch her notable solo career.
Renowned for her soulful and powerful vocal style, soul, jazz and pop singer Kate Ceberano has won almost every entertainment award in Australia. Releasing in excess of 15 albums, five of which went Platinum and another five going Gold. Ceberano has sold more than 1 million albums in Australia alone, performed countless sell-out tours, starred in acclaimed feature films and musicals and has hosted her own television show.
In 2007 Kate Ceberano won the Seven Network's hit show 'Dancing With The Stars' where she received the highest score ever from the hit celebrity contest. This year Kate also competed in Seven Network's latest series of 'It Takes Two', where she performed weekly duets with Australian Olympic swimmer Daniel Kowalski.
