About Lisa Wilkinson
At just 21, Lisa Wilkinson was appointed editor of Dolly magazine. That made her the youngest editor ever appointed to a national magazine. After doubling its circulation, Lisa was offered the top job at Cleo magazine.
She soon dropped Cleo's infamous male centrefold, but replaced it with the now-renowned list of Australia's 50 most eligible bachelors. Along the way, Lisa again pushed readership numbers up and was soon running editions in New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
Lisa's media career has extended beyond magazines with regular appearances on Foxtel's Beauty and the Beast. She also joined with Duncan Armstrong to co-host The Morning Shift on the Seven Network in 2000.
Lisa returned to Seven in late 2003, becoming a contributor to Sunrise on social issues. Her popularity with Sunrise viewers made her a natural choice to host Weekend Sunrise.
Occasionally heard expressing her views on radio station 2UE and offering advice as a business mentor, Lisa is now co-host of Channel Nine's popular breakfast show Today.
